In the shelter of His arms,

When the mighty tempests roll,

Comes a feeling of contentment,

From deep within the soul.



In the whisper of the wind,

As the clouds go drifting by,

His peace sometimes is awesome,

When you know He's by your side.



In the wee, wee morning hours,

While the dew is on the grass,

Comes a feeling filled with love,

As the Master answers back.



I walk and talk with my Savior,

Every moment of every day,

And listen when He speaks,

To this sinner of all mankind.



My soul so filled with gladness,

When in His tender care,

Be content and always thankful,

Because God is everywhere.
