The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.

This scripture passage has been prayed over me ever since my late husband died from Suicide 9 yrs ago.. may it be you strength, comfort, grace and hope as well through your Beauty from Ashes.

1 Timothy 2:9-15
"Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint. "

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.
Joshua 1:3

I love this verse because when put together with other verses, such as when God told Abraham that his seed would possess the gates of their enemies, and Ephesians chapter 1 that says I am seated with Christ in the heavenlies (right this very minute, I am), and Philippians 3:10 that says there is power outflowing from His resurrection being exerted over believers...all those verses together tell me that I can walk in and with authority, and the enemy cannot move me. No weapon formed against me will prosper, and He has made my feet like hinds' feet. Kingdom walking - that's what I am all about!!

Sorry, almost got carried away there! :)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Eph. 6:10-18

These verses remind me that every day in the life of a Christian is a battle. From the time our foot hits the ground until we pillow our head at night we are warring against the darkness of this world. Through the instruction of these verses our Captain has shown us how to be victorious at the end of each day. Our armor must be on and our swords ready or we will be caught in the crossfire and become a casualty of war. God forbid. We should be more than conquerors in Christ.

A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
