Isaiah 54:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”

" The JOY of the Lord is your strength" Nehemhiah 8:10b. This verse reminds me that the Lord's Joy is my constant strength through everything in life. The Lord's Joy is always within me through various things I go through in life either it be good or bad.. I think about this verse and it makes me burst into smiles ..remembering to rely on the Lord's strength, and remembering only the Lord can give me everlasting JOY,,and is the source of all JOY!!!

The Scripture that God has been laying on my heart is one of trust, and my struggle with it. Because of pain and betrayal of my past, those words said and acts done to me pop back up in new relationships. This reminds me they are worthless, untrue, and to read the Word for the real truth!

"But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless." (Jeremiah 7:8 NIV)

The verse that has been on my heart sooo much lately is Jeremiah 29:11. Although I may not know what my future holds but I know God does and his plans for me will be for my good and not evil. Until that door opens...I'm going to praise him in the hallway!

i have never really read the Bible. Lately, I'vee God's realized I can't share God's Word with anyone if I myself don't know the Word. So that's my next step! Read God's Word so I can carry it in my heart so I can share when the moment arises!

Reading God's Word has never been more important; following through with what we learn by doing what has been revealed to us could never be overstated. I don't remember the exact scripture, but be ye doers of the Word .... comes to mind. Women relating to women through God's Word can touch our hearts in ways that bring us to the place where we can look honestly at our hearts. Thanks for letting me share. God Bless!

John 16:33 I tell you these things so that in me you will have peace. In this life, you will have troubles, but take heart; I have overcome the world!

He is reminding me daily that He never promised this life would be easy, but that He has already overcome it all and one day, all of these troubles will be gone and forgotten.

The first Women's Devotional Bible I got was back in1993 when my husband was in Seminary. I read every devotion several times and loved that Bible. I let a minister's wife friend borrow for a time, and then she moved. I really miss it, but maybe I can get another sometime....
Right now, my verse is "Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually!" 1 Chronicles 16:11

A thought the Lord has been reminding me of lately is to be thankful and trustful of Him. Thankfulness seems so very simple but is so easy to take for granted. Trust doesn't come easy for me but even though He didn't have to, the Lord has proven Himself Trustworthy to me. He is worthy to be praised!

Matthew 5:17-18:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

I love this because it reminds me that God gave us the Law to not only be a guide but also a blessing. When the world seems confusing, we know where we can turn for truth!!
