As for me, I would like to share about the day that my daughter was born. I was scheduled for a c-section for 8:00 am in the morning on December 14th. It was a glorious day; it felt more like Spring than Winter. The temperature was a balming +10. I wore my light jacket and sandles to the hospital.

We had a 40 minutes drive to reach the hospital where our daughter would be delivered. On the way to the hospital, we were in awe that our baby would finally be here; we would finally have a child to call our own. We were truly blessed!

I was exceptionally grateful to God, as I never expected that I would be able to have children. From the age of 14, I have lived with chronic pain from a disease called Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had my doubts of being able to get pregnant or even carry a child to term because of all the medication that I have been on to keep the disease under control.

But God had a much BIGGER plan. He allowed me to get pregnant and He allowed me to be medication-free for my whole pregnancy!

So, as you can see, I was extremely grateful to be on my way to get our "gift from God." As we travelled the road, I was in a place of worship, praising God for ALL that He had accomplished in my life. I was enjoying the multitude of stars in the dark morning sky, when a shooting star fell from heaven. WOW! Talk about exciting!

But, it wasn't only one star - the farther we drove, the more shooting stars we saw. It was an incredible light show - heaven-sent, prepared just for us. It was like God was pouring down His blessing, showering us from above. We must have seen close to 20 stars that morn.

All the anticipation about requiring surgery (c-section) was diminished. Everything would be okay. And it was - our daughter was born at 8:32 am. Our lives have been forever changed; we can't imagine our lives without her (and her brother now).

I couldn't imagine my life without the words "Mom or Mommy". Having kids has truly been a dream come true - they are my 2 little miracles!

You Are My Precious Daughter.
You are a daughter of the KING, and not just any king.
You are MYdaughter, and I am the GOD of all heaven and earth.
I'm delightedwith you! You are the apple of MY eye.
You're Daddy's girl.

Your earthly father may love you and adore you,
but his love is not perfect,
no matter how great or small it is.
Only MY love is perfect…because I AM LOVE.

I formed your body.
I fashioned your mind and soul.
I know your personality,
and I understand your needs and desires.
I see yourheartaches and disappointments,
and I love you passionately and patiently.

My child, I bought you with a price
so that we could have an intimate relationship
together for all eternity.

Soon we will see each other face-to-face…
Father and daughter…
and you will experience the wonderful place
I have prepared for you in paradise.

Until then, fix your eyes on heaven,
and walk closely with ME.
You will know that although I AM GOD,
MY arms are not too big to hold you.
My beloved daughter.

Love, Your King and your Daddy in Heaven

"And I will be your Father,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty."
2 Corinthians 6:18
