Knee Mail ~ Important Recall Notice

Thursday, December 31, 2009

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.

This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.

This defect has been termed 'Sub-sequential Internal Non-Morality' or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behaviour
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect.

The Repair Technician, Jesus Christ, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.

Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual: The B.I.B.L.E. (Believers' Instructions
Before Leaving Earth)
for further details on the use of these fixes.

Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any
manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too
numerous to list. For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

Thank you for your attention!

................... GOD

P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important
recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by 'Knee mail'

This music enhances the atmosphere for intercessory prayer and intimate worship for an audience of One, the Lord Jesus Christ.

When the Sound of Heaven is released, darkness flees and souls are restored. I Sam 16:23 "and David would take his harp and play with his hand, and Saul would be refreshed and be well, and the evil spirit would depart from him."

Join Terri Geisel, a pianist/songwriter with a prophetic psalmist calling at Soak in His Presence. While in the 'secret place', Terri has received original songs as well as spontaneous piano instrumentals.

Come celebrate the Prince of PEACE this CHRISTmas season. Hear Terri's new CHRISTmas album, 'Christmas Night of Worship' which includes many piano solos and instrumentals.

The Nimbit music player also includes the album 'Soaking in His Love', as well as 'Sweet Soaking.' You will love them all!

It is her desire that this intimate worship provide an atmosphere to
lead you into a deeper encounter with Jesus the Messiah and be forever changed, healed and delivered as you soak in His Presence.

Down Pour Of The Streams Of His Mercy

There are times when the pressures
& busyness of life leave my spirit
worn out and dry. And my parched
soul cries for a drink and a respite
from the mundane that I see with
my eyes.

So I lift up my hands in worship and
praise to the King who granted me
grace. I adore Him for everything
and all that He is as tears start to
flow down my face.

My exhaustion gives way to the
Ancient of Days to the Immortal...
Invisible King. And the oil of true
worship washes over my spirit
through the offering of praise that
I bring.

Then I am reminded of my adoption
through Christ...my identity that
none can take away, Of my forgiven
transgressions...and the Lamb who
paid the price so I could stand in
freedom today.

My heart stops to honor the One who
is worthy of every respect I could
give to His name. For He's the Giver
of mercy who saved me from death
and lifted me up from my shame.

My soul finds refreshment in looking
away from the temporary....to the
eternal that never fades. And I stand in
the downpour of the streams of His mercy
and find rest from the heat in His shade.

(c) ~~Sheila Gosney~~

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your
right hand. Psalm 121: 1-519

The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my
high hills.

The CHRISTmas 10 Commandments

Thursday, December 24, 2009

1. Thou shalt give thy heart to Christ. Let Him be at the top of thy Christmas list

2. Thou shalt prepare thy soul for Christmas. Spend not so much on gifts that thy soul is forgotten.

3. Thou shalt not let Santa Claus replace Christ, thus robbing the day of its spiritual reality.

4. Thou shalt not burden the shop girl, the mailman, and the merchant with complaints and demands.

5. Thou shalt give thyself with thy gift. This will increase its value a hundred fold, and he who receiveth it shall treasure it forever.

6. Thou shalt not value gifts received by their cost. Even the least expensive may signify love, and that is more priceless than silver and gold.

7. Thou shalt not neglect the needy. Share thy blessings with many who will go hungry and cold unless thou are generous.

8. Thou shalt not neglect thy church. Its services highlight the true meaning of the season.

9. Thou shalt be as a little child. Not until thou has become in spirit as a little one art thou ready to enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

10. Thou shall not forget to share your joy, peace and faith with those around you.

LOVE 1 Corinthians Style

Wednesday, December 23, 2009

(c) Sharon Jaynes

If I decorate my house perfectly with lovely plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights, and shiny glass balls, but do not show love to my family - I’m just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals, and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family - I’m just another cook.

If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home, and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family - It profits me nothing.

If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties, and sing in the choir’s contada but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child.

Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband.

Love is kind, though harried and tired.

Love doesn’t envy another home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.

Love doesn’t yell at the kids to get out of your way.

Love doesn’t give, only to those who are able to give in return, but rejoices in giving to those who can’t.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

Love never fails. Video games will break; pearl necklaces will be lost; golf clubs will rust. But giving the gift of love will endure.

(c)Sharon Jaynes

Celebrating a Christ-Centered Christmas is a beautiful book that gives simple, helpful ideas to keep Jesus the focal point of the holiday season. As the swirl of activities begin pressing in from every side during the holidays, you'll be able to break free from the demands of a materialistic society and embrace the true meaning of Christmas.

What Can You Give Jesus?

Have you ever had a hard time shopping for the perfect gift?

What do you give someone who has everything?

Jesus is the King of Kings. What can you give Him?

The wise men brought Jesus three expensive gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 2:11 - And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

They were expensive and precious gifts. Is it possible to compete with those gifts?

Yes! You have very special and priceless gifts that you can give Jesus.

Give Jesus yourself!

Give Jesus Your:

Pray - Talk to Jesus. He wants you tell Him your heart. Share with Him what is on your heart.

Sing - Give your voice to Jesus. It doesn't matter if you have a beautiful voice or just make an ear covering sound. Your voice is beautiful to Jesus. He wants you to sing Him praises.

Bible Reading - Give Jesus your time by reading the Bible. Dig into all the true stories and miracles. Jesus wants us to learn about Him and thank Him for all He has done.

Helping Others - The gift of time is special to Jesus, but also to others. Visits to shut-ins, elderly, or family can make a positive difference, especially during this time of year. Take time to visit and listen with your heart.

These are just a few of the gifts that you can give Jesus.
Brainstorm ways that you can give Him your all.

Give Jesus the gift that He wants this year. You!

Have a Merry CHRISTmas!

My Throwaway Tree

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~ Isaiah 41:10

(c) Joyce Schneider ~ A Life Decision

Joyce wrote this story three years ago, but it's still one of her favorites. She shared it in her newsletter today. enJOY!!!

One day last week I realized it was getting close to Christmas and we still did not have a tree. I thought Bobby could run get one after dinner, but he ended up not feeling well, skipped dinner and opted for bed. I decided I could go get a tree and off Chase and I went. We didn't want to spend much money, so we headed to Publix first, but there were no trees there. We decided to give Home Depot a try. As we pulled in, we saw that the tree lot was dark and empty.

Chase and I looked at each other and we were both disappointed. I suggested we get out and look around to see it there were any trees elsewhere. As we walked around the corner of the lot, there was a fellow in the back digging through a pile of discarded trees, looking for greenery.

He saw our disappointment and explained that all the trees were gone, except this pile of trash trees that were going to be thrown away. He reached down and pulled out a tree and asked us if we wanted it. Chase really wanted a tree and it was getting late and I was tired and I didn't really feel like looking elsewhere, so I said, "Sure. We'll take it home, stick it in some water and see what happens, If it still looks ratty tomorrow, we'll go get another one."

So home we went with our little throwaway tree. But it really wasn't that little. It filled the entire back of my truck, making it at least 6 feet tall. When we got home, we woke Bobby up and asked him to help us with our tree. The poor guy wasn't feeling well at all, but he saw our excitement and so he got up and trimmed off the bottom of the tree and put it into the tree stand. Then we filled the stand with sugar water and said, "Well, let's see what happens."

It was pretty ratty tatty ... it had been lying in that discarded pile a while, I think. But we were hoping a little TLC might bring it back to life.

And you know what? It did! Yep, we got up the next day and went downstairs and that tree was green again and the branches had started to fall down into place and it really wasn't bad looking at all. Just one little bare spot near the top.

And Bobby got home and he trimmed up the branches and carried it upstairs and put lights on it and the boys filled the branches with decorations. And we have a nice Christmas tree!

Did you ever feel like that tree? A throwaway person? Discarded by life? Discarded by others? I had reached a point in my life at one time where I didn't really care if I lived or died. In fact, I had planned on actually killing myself, the life I lived just didn't hold any attraction for me. Drugs and alcohol and guilt and shame were a vicious cycle, and I was tired of the treadmill and ready to call it quits.

But God had other plans for me. He picked me up out of that pile, watered me with His Word, and trimmed off all my dead limbs. And then let His light shine through all the brokenness.

When I look at our little Christmas tree today, there is no sign of that battered, discarded throwaway tree. I see a tree decorated with love. And when I look at my life, I don't see a throwaway person, but rather a child of the King, fueled by His love!

Father, I know there are so many hurting people, feeling lost and discarded by the trials of life. Lord Jesus, I ask you to wrap them up in your love and bring peace to them in the midst of their challenges and Lord, let them know that You love them and that You hold the key to life, for them. And Father, thank you for not allowing me to stay in that place of abandonment and pain, but rather to be filled to the overflow, with your love and your peace.

I love you Jesus.
In Your Name I pray,

Lord, here I am again, down on my knees in prayer
And Lord, You promised me You would always meet me there

Now there's a mountain up ahead that I can't seem to climb
But I'm praying for the strength to try it one more time

Lord, don't move that mountain, just give me strength to climb
For if You should move each mountain I might grow weaker every time

And just like your son Jesus took the cross of Calvary's hill
Lord, don't move that mountain, so I may better do Your will

Now if I had no mountains, Lord I might forget to pray
And if there were no trials, well, I might even stray

But I know the higher the mountain, the sweeter the victory
Lord ever remind me You will walk beside of me

Lord, don't move that mountain, just give me strength to climb
For if You should move each mountain I might grow weaker every time

And just as your Son Jesus took the cross of Calvary's hill
Lord, don't move that mountain, so I may better do Your will

Lord, don't move that mountain, so I may better do Your will

Why Jesus is Better Than Santa Claus

Sunday, December 20, 2009

Santa lives at the North Pole...
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh...
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year...
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies...
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited...
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart when invited.

You have to wait in line to see Santa...
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap...
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?”...
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly...
JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO...
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"...
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."

Santa's little helpers make toys...
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but...
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree...
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in CHRISTmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

Yes, Jesus is better, he is even better than Santa Claus.

The Wonder Of It All

Thursday, December 17, 2009

You are invited to visit uReadBooks.com
to listen to this new Christmas audio special!

uReadBooks presents:

~ Touching Wonder ~
A Christmas Radio Special

Does it seem like you have heard the Christmas story a few too many times for it to still hold the wonder that it once had? With his instant classic, Touching Wonder, author John Blase breathes new life into the story of the Nativity. Just in time for the holiday season, uReadBooks.com presents a half hour Christmas special featuring excerpts from this new book.

About the book:

Little children understand how amazing the Nativity story is. But, sometimes, as we become men and women, we put away the childlike with the childish. The result? We lose something vital—the wonder of it all. When author John Blase went looking for the lost wonder of Christmas, he went back to the place he’d last seen it—the stories from Luke 1-2. What he found fills the pages of his new book, Touching Wonder: Recapturing the Awe of Christmas (David C Cook, September 2009), with flesh and bone and dust and night and a baby’s cry; the intimate union of human and divine—the Incarnation.

By boldly imagining the first two chapters of the gospel of Luke, writer, editor, and former pastor John Blase has created an instant classic for Christmastime. In a tale that reads like a novel parallel parked by the record of Scripture, Blase beckons those who could use a little wonder in their lives to step onto the stage of history and witness the long awaited coming of the Messiah. With Eugene Peterson’s The Message Bible translation as his backdrop, Blase adds his own voice and commentary to the historic events, exploring the renowned drama from an array of viewpoints.

In Touching Wonder, readers will meet a cast of unruly unlikelies—a frightened teenaged girl, a worried carpenter, a collection of senior citizens, a disillusioned young shepherd, even an angel or two—moving toward the realization that the little one just born is the One. This imaginative retelling of the grand miracle will leave readers wide-eyed, slack-jawed, and heart-full. The Lord is come!

In this lovely and distinctive book to be read…and re-read…and pondered in the heart, young and old will recapture the wonder of the Christmas story by seeing through the eyes of those who lived it. The book’s graceful design and Amanda Jolman’s beautiful line drawings combine to make this a thoughtful Christmas gift as well as a wonder that families will treasure for years to come.

The Greatest Wonder

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

I've never seen all the wonders of the world,
Which men declare greatest of all,
But I have seen the miracle of salvation,
When on the name of Jesus, we call.

The buildings, tombs, or famous monuments
Have not stood the test of time,
But the miracle of the empty tomb,
Is a great wonder and a sign.

The wonder of His resurrection
The stone which was rolled away,
Makes our heart ponder on his great love,
We see prophecy fulfilled and a miracle on that day.

The wonders of this world made by men
Will one day all crumble and fall,
But a heart designed by Jesus,
Is still the greatest miracle of all.

Sin, Forgiveness, GRACE

Monday, December 14, 2009

...not only do these themes abound in Scripture, but also in one of the most important Western novels ever penned. The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky has long been viewed as one of the best novels in world literature and now it's the FREE download for December 2009, only from christianaudio.

The book probes the possible roles of four brothers in the unresolved murder of their father, Fyodor Karamazov. At the same time, it carefully explores the personalities and inclinations of the brothers whom together represent the full spectrum of human nature-the continuum of faith and doubt.

This abridged version maintains the Christian themes and is expertly narrated by the widely-recognized Simon Vance. His presentations of all the characters invite you into the story and challenge the listener to thoughtful reflection.

The Brothers Karamazov has been hailed by readers for over a century as one of the finest achievements in all of western literature.
