Do you remember when you were first born again into The Way?
I Do

Do you remember the love you had for me?

Before “maturity” brought in its own mix of religion and pride.

When you were an infant you were so grateful to me, you knew how much you needed Me.

Now you think I need you.

Then your faith was hot, now it is barely warm.

Then you were excited, enthusiastic and committed.

Now you are dull, boring and stagnant.

Remember and return to your first love.

Forget how “good” and “religious” you think you are and remember how much your sin cost Me.

Sure back then you were untrained, immature and dependant, with a tendency to be unstable and flighty.

Now you are unteachable, self confident and independent.

Now you are stuck in a rut.

You use to love to sit at my feet, just like Mary.

Now you are so busy with your programs and committees, just like Martha

Do you remember?

Do you care?

I died that you might live

Please remember, turn around and look at Me.

Keep your maturity but return to Me with a child’s faith, a child’s dependency, a child’s love.

Remember Me and I will remember you.
